We teach Ed Parker's American
Kenpo Karate. Kenpo is a modern self-defense art, featuring unusually fast hand and foot combinations that are practical and
can be learned by the average person. Kenpo Karate is not a sport! We are learning to protect ourselves in case of an attack.
WHY LEARN KENPO?
Kenpo is designed to deal with
the street situations that exist in the United States today. For this reason there are no competitive tournaments. The techniques
we practice are for actual self-defense situations. The knowledge you acquire, coupled with practice, builds self-confidence
by giving you the ability to stand up to certain intimidating situations. Kenpo practice is great conditioning. It is also
mentally stimulating. We challenge you to think while you are working out. Kenpo also develops coordination as well as increased
flexibility and strength.
OUR MISSION:
The purpose of our studio is to preserve and spread the art of Kenpo Karate as developed
and taught by Grand Master Ed Parker. From as young as age 3 1/2 onward, we seek to help each student develop both as
a martial artist and as a person. It is our belief, borne out of experience, that the many benefits of Kenpo Karate include
improved self-confidence, ability to concentrate, respect for others, teamwork, moral fiber, and freedom from fear.

I come to you with only Karate, empty hands.
I have no weapons. But should I be forced to defend myself, my principles or my honor; should it be a matter of life or
death, of right or wrong, then here are my weapons - Karate, my empty hands.
